The Second International Conference on Cognitive Systems and Information Processing (ICCSIP 2014) with
IEEE MFI 2014 will be held during September 27-30, 2014, in Beijing, China. This conference is sponsored
by Tsinghua University, Science in China Press, Institute of Software CAS, and technically sponsored by
IEEE Computational Intelligence Society, Cognitive Systems & Information Processing Society of Chinese
Association for Artificial Intelligence, National Key Laboratory of Science and Technology on Aerospace
Intelligence Control, Science in China Series F: Information Sciences and the National Science Foundation
Committee. The aim of this conference is to bring together experts from different expertise areas to discuss
the state-of-the-art in artificial cognitive systems and advanced information processing, and to present new
research results and perspectives on future development.

Authors are invited to submit full-length papers (6 pages normally and 10 pages maximum) by the submission
deadline through the online submission system in Channel 2 (not Channel 1). Potential organizers are also invited to enlist five or
more papers with cohesive topics to form special sessions. The submission of a paper implies that
the paper is original and has not been submitted under review or is not copyright-protected elsewhere and will be
presented by an author if accepted. All submitted papers will be refereed by experts in the field based on the criteria
of originality, significance, quality, and clarity. The authors of accepted papers will have an opportunity to
revise their papers and take consideration of the referees'comments and suggestions. Papers presented at ICCSIP
2014 will be published in the EI-indexed proceedings and some selected excellent papers will be included in special
issues of several journals including

    Cognitive Computation, (6 papers)
International Journal of Computational Intelligent Systems, (6 papers)
International Journal of Control, Automation, and Systems (5-6 papers)
Robotics and Autonumous Systems (10 papers)
    Robotics and Biomimetics (15-20papers)
Science China: Information Sciences (4-5 papers)
Tsinghua Science and Technology (English Version), (4-5 papers)
Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering(English Version) (5-6papers)

Authors are also invited to submit papers for special sessions listed in our website, which
will be peer-reviewed with the same criteria used for the contributed papers.
